Best Case Scenario

We had another check up today. I was amazed to see how much they had changed in less than a week. We could clearly see all 3 babies and they're each measuring slightly different, but on schedule. We learned that our identicals are in 2 separate gestational sacs which was very good news. Last week they appeared to be bunking together. The doc also is "pretty sure" they each have they're own placenta. Individual sacs and placentas is the best we could hope for. Looks like these 3 are planning on sticking around. :)

Lots of m/s is a good thing I've learned. Means you have lots of good hormones to keep those babies around.
Congrats again!

SO glad to hear the identical ones have their own sacs (big relief) and hopefully their own placentas, too! Triplets is enough of a worry, without adding other complications.

Sounds like all three are going strong! That is great news! Just think...if you gals are "three and done" - you'll never have to go through that infertility nightmare again. :) You gals paid your dues and then some!

How cute that you have an identical pair in there! I second the request from another commenter - you need to update your blog daily now. hahahahaha. jk. we are all so excited following your journey! much love to you both.

Okay, I have been wondering something that there is no real way to answer yet. I wonder if the 2 identical twins will actually look just alike. I know that seems like a dumb question but I have heard that when an egg splits early enough the twins don't appear absolutely identical even though they share the same DNA. Just wondering... :)
