Flutters

At around 6:30 this morning Trina's started feeling a vague fluttery feeling low in her belly, just above her pelvis. She laid awake for about an hour just experiencing it. This evening she was laying on the couch and felt it again. We're about 95% sure these are the first detectable baby movements. Trina's pretty in tune with her body so I never questioned her when she told me she "felt the babies" even though it's super early. After work I jumped on the triplet message forum and sure enough, there were several triplet moms who began feeling flutters around 10 weeks and actual kicks between 13-15 weeks. I can't wait until I can feel them, too. After 2 long, drawn out years of waiting and hoping, suddenly everything seems to be moving so fast. I swear the milestones are just flying by.

Oh that is so cool! I do not doubt that she can feel them fluttering. It makes sense to me that less space = quicker sensations. And what a special connection for Trina: she has been such a trooper with the puking and deserves a perk already!

Yay! Your post gave me the goosebumps. :) I am so happy for you gals, and I love that Trina can feel little flutters. I remember feeling flutters around 14 weeks, and all the nurses told me it was too early. But I knew. And Trina knows, too. :) That's so amazing! Yay for your three little beans! Youre right, the milestones are just flying by. Pretty soon youll be feeling them too! With me (singleton pregnancy), B was able to feel little kicks around 18-20 weeks. (It would require her to keep her hand on my belly forever, since the kicks were few and far between back then) With triplets, I imagine you may get the oppty to feel movement much sooner!
